Tara and her team at Bravado Farms are excellent!
The kids program offers a wonderful family atmosphere where the children support one another at home while training, at the shows, and outside of horses altogether.
Board, training, and care of my horses are always top notch. I know they are in good hands on the property and at shows. Bravado Farms does everything I would expect when it comes down to the level of care you wish for your horses. Your horses become their horses.
I have used Tara for multiple investment horses now and she handles everything from the showing, to trials, to agreements so I don't have to lift a finger unless it's to sign a sale/lease contract.
Would recommend Bravado Farms and Tara Bemoll to anyone looking for a new (horse) home whether you are riding and showing or wanting to sell/purchase.

Relocating my horse to Bravado Farms was the best move I’ve ever made. I’ve only been there for 4 months and the transformation my horse has been through is incredible. Tara has an amazing team and has truly built Bravado Farms to be a well oiled machine.
Tara is a laser focused trainer who structures all training to be very personalized to the specific horse and rider. She goes above and beyond to be there for her clients and always has everything covered. She is one of the most positive and optimistic people I’ve ever met. I can go out of town with total peace of mind that my horse is in the absolute best hands.
Laura has been instrumental to my development as a rider as well as my horse’s. She has put so much heart and soul into working with him during trainer rides and then passes on key tips and techniques to me when she teaches my lessons.
Jordan always has a smile on her face and is encouraging and enthusiastic when she teaches the kids. She is a wealth of knowledge and I can always count on her if I ever need help.
Rodolfo has magical powers that make every horse look like they are ‘show ready’ 24/7. I’m in awe of how on top of it is he is and no stone is left unturned. It is very clear he takes a lot of pride in his work and I’m so grateful for him.
If you’re looking for a new home for your horse, Bravado Farms is it!

I can’t say enough good things about the Bravado Farms program and Tara, Laura and Jordan! If you are a beginner or competing at the highest level, Bravado Farms is ready to take you to the next level. The training and horse care is top notch. Tara Bemoll leads a team of riders who are dedicated to their horses, their sport and each other - bringing out the best this sport can offer. Bravado Farms got me back in the saddle as an amateur after a 20 year hiatus and now I am a horse owner and my nine-year old son is riding as well. Tara, Laura and Jordan have been incredibly flexible with our schedule, kind and patient to me and my son. I love that it’s both a competitive barn and a place where kids and adults alike can hang out and enjoy being around horses. The values that are taught alongside the riding instruction sets this program apart from many others. Tara is incredibly professional, honest, and has built a fun and family-like barn atmosphere that makes coming to the barn a joyful experience every time. Laura and Jordan are highly talented trainers that we are lucky to work with. We love Bravado Farms!

Riding with Bravado Farms is a true privilege. Tara’s teaching style is motivating, educational, and catered to each rider individually. Lessons are purposeful and there is always something new to be learned from them. Tara is diligent and creative with her teaching, ensuring that riders are understanding concepts and having productive and positive lessons. Tara has allowed me to pursue my passion for riding when I thought it to be otherwise out of reach. I am so grateful to be learning from such an excellent role model and teacher. Tara’s passion for the sport and horses translates into her excellent horsemanship. She always acts in the best interest of her horses and clients. Equestrians as dedicated, passionate, talented, and responsible as Tara are hard to come by. She represents everything that a teacher and rider should be and continues to set an example for equestrians of all levels and abilities. I am so grateful to be a part of Bravado Farms, and the wonderful program and barn family Tara has created.

Tara is a natural teacher. She encourages her students to think and verbalize what they've done right and what they've done wrong and how to correct it. She is a positive person and genuinely wants her students to succeed both in the arena and out. She takes advantage of teachable moments; encouraging them to watch and learn from others. She places a high value on horsemanship and making well rounded equestrians. Tara has incredible "horse sense". She understands that horses are a big investment and strives to protect it by schooling them regularly and watching for any indications that something is wrong. Both my daughter's riding abilities, horsemanship and our horse have improved under Tara. Overall, I could not be more pleased with our training with Tara!

I could not be more thankful to have had the opportunity to become a part of Bravado Farms. I’ve been riding for fourteen years and can honestly say that I’ve had so much fun and learned so much more riding with Tara in two years than I had in the twelve years prior. Every lesson is interesting, challenging and fun and I look forward to coming to the barn every day. Tara always has something new planned and has an unbelievable attention to detail, even in group lessons she sees everything and gives specific feedback and encouragement to each individual rider. No one ever goes unnoticed or gets bored. My grandma who has watched me ride at several different barns was amazed how “nothing gets past Tara!”
She goes above and beyond to make sure that every lesson is productive and ends on a good note and she takes advantage of every teachable moment on and off the horse. Tara has been an amazing friend, support system, mentor and of course trainer for all the riders of all ages at her barn. Her enthusiasm for what she does and hardworking attitude inspires you to set goals and work hard to reach them, and she is always positive and there to help for every step of the way.
Riding at Bravado Farms has not only made me into a better rider and improved my knowledge of horses and how to care for them, but it has given me some of my best friends and there aren’t words to describe how happy I am to be a part of this barn.
Before I started taking lessons from Tara, I had not ridden for seven years. For our first couple lessons Tara was very patient with me as she helped me gain back my confidence in the saddle. I told her that my goal was to complete at a hunter/jumper show and once I was solid with my basics she got right to helping me reach that goal. I really like how she focuses on getting technical pieces of riding down first before moving on to the bigger parts. For example, before going over small cross rails we worked on making sure I could hold my horse straight when going across my diagonals or making a three loop serpentines. When we moved to going over the cross rails I was able to ride to the center of the jump and go straight out of it. Even when I make mistakes, Tara lets me know what I did well and what I need to do to improve. I’m extremely happy that I’m riding with Tara at Bravado Farms.

I was introduced to Tara‘s riding program by my sister who has her daughter riding at Bravado Farms. As a professional in this business as well, I feel Tara does a very good job teaching the kids in a positive manner. Tara has an amazing work ethic. I love that she teaches the kids to not only to work hard in this sport but also horsemanship. I love the feel of the barn and the way everybody works together. It’s definitely a great team environment. My 7 year old daughter just started riding there as well a few months ago and she loves it. Thank you Tara for being such a positive role model and influence in our lives.

My Daughter Greta has been training with Tara Bemoll at Bravado Farms now for about 2 1/2 years. We love Tara! She is truly a treasure. Her passion for her ponies and horses is evident by her enthusiasm and big smile when you see her. She is kind and patient with my daughter. Greta looks forward to her lessons and can’t wait until the next one! I highly recommend her for lessons and training. I know she trains riders who wish to show horses and they do well in competitions, but my daughter simply just loves being around horses and isn’t compelled to compete just yet and Tara has been great about that too. We have been to several barns leading up finding Tara and she is a keeper!!!

Tara Bemoll has been involved with horses for as long as I have known her, over 14 years. I’ve known Tara as a competitive horse rider, owner, sale agent, vet tech, assistant trainer, barn manager, and now the trainer/owner of her own program, Bravado Farms. Currently we have a horse with Tara in training at Del Mar and under Tara’s care. We know that our horse will be well taken care of in all aspects of horse husbandry from schooling, the feed and supplement program, grooming and veterinary needs to a well managed and maintained schedule. Tara has always been honest, responsible, professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive to meet the needs of all of the horses under her care and makes her clients feel very welcome.

We are blessed to have Tara in our lives. When my daughter begged to ride, I honestly was not initially in favor. Her persistence lead us to Bravado Farms, and I couldn't be more thankful for her determination and where it took us.
From the beginning, Tara made sure that my daughter not only learned how to ride, but also how to be a horsewoman. Tara leads by example with her integrity and her willingness to take on multiple roles in the horses' and her students' lives. In addition to being a horse-loving trainer and care-taker, she is a mother, a sister, and a friend to all of her students.
Tara works tirelessly, gives freely, and inspires respect from her students. She is never afraid to get her hands dirty, and through example is helping to build the right kind of character in my daughter. I couldn't ask for a better beginning to our riding experience and look forward to many more years at Bravado Farms.

"Before coming to Bravado Farms I had ridden at a couple of other barns in San Diego and completely lost my confidence; I'd been paired with horses that were not appropriate for my ability or my objective of "confidently getting back in the saddle", and had instructors push me to do too much too soon. I was actually going to give up, but after a conversation with Tara about the horses at Bravado and her teaching philosophy, I thought I'd give it one last try. During the first couple of lessons I had with Tara I was a nervous wreck, but Tara's calm and patient teaching style put me at ease, and in the few months I have been riding at Bravado I've come along leaps and bounds. I'm so glad I didn't give up now! The horses are all incredibly well cared for by Tara and her excellent groom Costa, and the facility is welcoming, clean and well organized. I would highly recommend Bravado for both adults and children of all levels". Ruth Sismon, 2017
"Our daughter Sadie started taking lessons with Tara when she was 7 years-old and she absolutely loves it. Tara is nurturing, communicates clearly and respectfully and knows how to get the best out of her students. Safety is always at the forefront of all Tara teaches with a focus on fundamentals and maximizing a rider's potential. The Bravado Farms barn is always a tranquil and healthy environment for the riders with a fun and appropriately intense atmosphere. Our family enjoys every aspect of our involvement with Bravado Farms and we look forward to seeing our daughter continue to develop in Tara's program."

I have been riding with Tara for two years now and I am thankful for the opportunity to have become a part of her barn family at Bravado Farms. Tara did a tremendous job with helping me bring my beloved 21 year old Warmblood back from an injury sustained outside of her care. Tara's extreme attention to detail and her wealth of equine knowledge was pivotal in my horse's recovery. Tara treats every horse in the barn like her own and carefully monitors their care, while providing a tailored riding program for each horse/rider combination. As a full-time+ CPA, I work long hours during the weekdays, which makes getting out to the barn to ride during the week nearly impossible. However, Tara has been extremely flexible in working with my schedule so that I can get as much riding time in as possible. Further, I know my horse is being regularly exercised and well cared for in my absence, which definitely helps me sleep at night. I am so lucky to have found a trainer who is willing to work around my schedule and who has taken a keen interested in getting me back into the sport after an almost 10 year hiatus. Tara is an extremely hard worker and determined professional who thrives on the accomplishments of her students. Her passion for the sport and love of horses seems to be the driving force behind Tara's motivation to go above an beyond. I can not say enough to emphasize how grateful I am to train with her.
